These Sintered NdFeB magnets are particularly suitable for high volumn production of a wide variety of shape and size ranges. Ni, Zn or customized coated surface protection. Precise dimensional control is achieved in both processed and usually the component does not require futher machining. NdFeb magnets have been widely used in high performance stepper, DC, servo, and linear motors, actuators, loudspeakers, headphones, instrumentation, switches, relays, magnetic imaging for medical and geophysical applications, holding systems, magnetic bearings, magnetic couplings, hard disk drives, etc.
Neodymium Rectangular Magnets are very strong, but very sensitive to temperature and corrosion. To combat temperature we can help you to select the grade that is appropriate for the operating temperature that you may require. To combat corrosion, Neodymium Magnets are coated on the outside. Most commonly they will be coated with nickel-copper-nickel, but can also be coated with epoxy, gold and parylene.
It is important to know that neodymium magnets are very hard and brittle and can break if they are dropped. Neodymium magnets can be assembled into products that use strong adhesives, but contact surfaces should all be clean and dry before bonding.
Block (or bar) magnets have completely flat surfaces that are perpendicular (at right angles) to each other, and are available in all scales from cubes through to long rectangular prisms.
The dimensions for blocks are Length x Width x Height (mm).
Block magnets feature straight edges and are available in all proportions from cubes through to flat rectangular bars. Rare Earth blocks are available in sizes from approx 6mm length up to 100mm length, with pull strengths exceeding 100kg.
